Background
He joined Maeda Corporation in April 1986. He became an Executive Officer in January 2010, Managing Executive Officer in April 2014, a Director in June 2016, Senior Managing Executive Officer and head of the Management Innovation Division in April 2020, and Representative Director and Executive Vice President of the company in October 2021. He spent all 35 years from joining to becoming president of the holding company at Maeda Corporation.

In October 2021 he became Representative Executive Officer, President and CEO of INFRONEER Holdings, established through a joint share transfer by Maeda Corporation, Maeda Road Construction and Maeda Seisakusho. In the fiscal year ended March 2021, just before the three-way integration, Maeda Corporation's consolidated revenue was ¥678.1 billion, operating income ¥46.3 billion and net income ¥23.3 billion. He moved directly from Senior Managing Executive Officer and head of the Management Innovation Division, a post he took in April 2020, to become the holding company's first President.
Initiatives
After he took office, consolidated revenue grew from ¥682.9 billion in the fiscal year ended March 2022 to ¥1,124.9 billion in FY ended March 2026, and operating income from ¥37.5 billion to ¥75.8 billion. Net income also rose from ¥26.7 billion to ¥76.6 billion. In FY ended March 2026 the company made Sumitomo Mitsui Construction a subsidiary through a tender offer.
