Background
He joined Recruit in April 1992, and in December 1999 founded the limited partnership Cymart, becoming its general partner. In May 2002 he founded Kitanotatsujin Corporation and became its Representative Director and President. In the FY ended February 2026 he himself is the largest shareholder with 51.67%, and Hiroko Kinoshita holds 1.26%. He is a founder who holds a majority on his own, with no separation between capital and management.
Selection
He had no predecessor, becoming Representative Director and President at the founding in May 2002. He had worked at Recruit for seven years and eight months from April 1992. He had set up Cymart in December 1999, two years and five months before the founding, and the incorporation appears to have been an extension of that. He is a founder-president holding a majority of the shares, and in the 24 years from the founding through 2026 the presidency has never changed hands.
