In the fiscal year ended June 2004, two years before he took office, the company posted a consolidated operating loss of ¥2.0 billion and a net loss of ¥5.5 billion. In January 2010 he handed the presidency of Sho-Bond Construction to Soji Fujii and became its Representative Director and Vice Chairman.
