          "text": "坂本孝氏は1940年5月に山梨県甲府市で生まれ、1963年3月に慶應義塾大学法学部を卒業した。1968年8月に甲府倉庫の取締役、1989年12月に代表取締役となり、事業の土台は父から継いだ甲府の倉庫業だった。30歳のころに手を出したオーディオ販売は「財務の知識足らずで五年で大失敗」に終わり、次に中古ピアノを320台ほど集めて2日で売り切った。1990年5月、相模原市に古本店\"BOOKOFF\"の1号店を開業した。"

          "text": "坂本孝氏は1991年10月からフランチャイズ・チェーンの全国展開を始め、標準化した買取を全国へ複製した。加盟店は現地で買い取って現地で売る自給自足を原則とし、本部が出すのは新規出店時の初期在庫だけだった。1994年の中古CD・ビデオを皮切りに子供用品・スポーツ用品・衣料へ商材を広げ、1999年10月には米国法人BOOKOFF U.S.A. INC.を設立した。2004年3月に東証二部、2005年3月に東証一部へ上場し、リユース業で初の一部上場企業となった。2006年3月期の連結売上高は421億円だった。",
