            "text": "1956年11月、住友商事の専務取締役から住友不動産の代表取締役社長へ移った。会社は1949年12月に財閥解体で解散した住友本社の不動産部門を継ぐ第二会社として設立され、丸の内は三菱地所、日本橋は三井不動産が押さえたあとに残った物件群しか引き継げていない。就任の半年後にあたる1957年5月に泉不動産から住友不動産へ商号を変更し、1963年4月には清算中の住友本社を吸収合併している。住友の名を掲げ直して戦後処理を終える役目に、本社と商事の両方を知る人物を充てたとみられる。"
