          "text": "四輪車への品目の入れ替えが在任の柱になった。1960年10月に軽貨物車、1964年2月に大衆乗用車、1966年11月に軽乗用車を続けて発売し、1961年6月には池田第二工場を稼働させている。1966年5月にディーゼル機関部門を分離してダイハツディーゼルを設立した。1967年11月にはトヨタ自動車工業・トヨタ自動車販売と業務提携を締結する。1968年6月に販売・サービス部門をダイハツ自動車販売として切り出し、その社長を兼ねたうえで、同年12月に取締役会長へ就任した。",
