            "text": "音桂二郎氏は1919年1月1日に東京で生まれ、東京帝国大学工学部機械工学科を卒業して海軍造機技術士官に任官した。海軍工廠を回った2年ほどの間に海中で簡易水処理装置を使う米兵を見て、イオン交換樹脂による水処理装置の開発へ独自に取り組んだ。1948年1月、財閥解体で三菱商事から分かれた金商へ移り、三菱化成工業のイオン交換樹脂を軸とする水処理業務を担当した。総合水処理を主体業務とする新会社の設立運動を主導し、1952年10月に三菱化成工業と金商の共同出資で日本錬水が発足すると営業課長に就任した。",

            "text": "音桂二郎氏が総合水処理メーカーを目指す一方、親会社の三菱化成工業はイオン交換樹脂『ダイヤイオン』の販売を重視し、水処理には消極的だった。米インフィルコ社との技術提携交渉も、三菱化成工業首脳が水処理を論じないまま不成立に終わった。1953年10月の退社時に当分の間は水処理業務を行わないと約束したため、残る足場は金商時代に代理権を得た米ミルトン・ロイ社の定量注入ポンプだけだった。同年12月26日に資本金100万円で特殊ポンプ工業が発足し、常勤は34歳の音桂二郎氏と監査役の父・音申吉氏の2人だけだった。"

            "text": "1966年3月期は9,100万円の欠損となり、年2割の高率配当から無配へ転じた。音桂二郎氏は製品と作業の標準化、新技術の開発、新市場の開拓を対策に挙げた。1965年5月に米ミルトン・ロイ社との提携期間が切れると再契約せずに自力開発へ移り、独自のミルフロー制御容量ポンプは定量注入ポンプで世界2位の売上を占めた。1967年に輸入販売から入った人工腎臓は2年後に国産第1号機が完成し、1974年9月期には売上49億円と総売上の40%を占めた。同年、静岡県榛原に30億円を投じて医療器専門の工場を建設した。"
