          "text": "2026年4月、代表執行役会長兼社長だった竹内成和氏の後任として代表執行役社長に就任した。竹内氏は2016年10月から社長を務めていた。就任前年度の2026年3月期は売上高2,473億円、営業利益47億円で、2022年3月期の営業利益505億円には遠く及ばない。会社は石川氏の選任理由に、臨床検査薬とグローバル事業への知見と「事業会社経営者としての豊富な経験」を挙げた。収益の立て直しに、事業会社を率いた経験を充てる人事だったと思われる。"
